Leray Heyne  0:23

Hello, I'm Leray Heyne. And I want to introduce you to the first Christian television network consecrated to tell the world what Jesus is doing the business. You may be thinking to yourself, what in the world are you talking about? Jesus is not involved in business. Business is one of the greatest problems this world has. And I get how that might be your Christian worldview. But for those of us who love the Lord with all of our heart, mind, soul and strength, and who had been called and gifted and sent by Holy Spirit to oversee companies in the public squares of business, we have a different Christian worldview. On Jesus Christ's CEOs TV, you will hear from Jesus' perspective what he is doing in business. You will hear from the perspective of Christian CEOs what Jesus is doing in business. You will learn how Holy Spirit is manifesting Christ in the mortal flesh of the Body of Christ, in business. And for you CEOs, you will be equipped on how to operate an Authentic Kingdom Company consecrated through Jesus Christ through you and your team's participation with God Holy Spirit's governance. Welcome to Jesus Christ's CEOs TV, the first Christian television network consecrated and raised up by God Holy Spirit to tell the world what Jesus is doing in business.

Leray Heyne  1:49

Welcome back to Jesus Christ's CEOs TV, I am Leray Heyne. And we're here on the convention floor of the NRB National Religious Broadcasting convention and exhibits. And we are here introducing our new virtual technology brought to you by Brainstorm and ProCyc and Ikan and Keycode are our partners here at this exhibit. And our TV network is all about telling the world what Jesus Christ is doing a business. And what I want you to know is the body of Christ is made up of many different parts and many different members who have different activities, and so on. And today, you're going to hear from my guest, Ron Henry, who will share one of those things on how and what Jesus is doing a business. But before we go there, I want to read you that verse so that you have it anchored in your mind and and it will come alive with you when you hear this interview today. And it is Romans. No, it's 1 Corinthians 12:4. And it says there is a diversity of gifts, but the same Spirit. There is a diversity of ministries, but the same Lord. And there are a diversity of activities of diversity of activities, but the same God who works all in all. And so today, you're going to hear about how the Lord is using chaplains as one of these diversity of gifts, and ministries and activities of what he is doing in business. So thank you, Ron, and welcome to the set in NRB.

Ron Henry  3:20

It's Impressive, impressive. I love it. I love it.

Leray Heyne  3:23

Yeah. So tell us a little bit about marketplace chaplains and how marketplace chaplains is what Jesus is doing in business.

Ron Henry  3:30

Oh, my pleasure to share. Maybe I'll first just if our people are watching this can envision the United States who had 6000 pushpins all around the United States. All right.

Leray Heyne  3:43

So these are your chaplains or companies?

Ron Henry  3:45

These are there's just 6000 Christians now, visualize that every week chaplains show up at 6000 work locations.

Leray Heyne  3:53

Wow.

Ron Henry  3:53

To bring a non judgmental, confidential relationship based care.

Leray Heyne  4:00

Right.

Ron Henry  4:00

And they're professionally trained. So in essence, Jesus is showing up.

Leray Heyne  4:05

Yes.

Ron Henry  4:06

At the frontline workers of 6000 work locations today.

Leray Heyne  4:10

Yeah.

Ron Henry  4:11

And I just and so.

Leray Heyne  4:13

That's amazing. How do you guys do that? How long you guys been around doing that?

Ron Henry  4:16

Well, we actually the the initiative got started by a gentleman who retired as an army chaplain when he came back off the frontlines 40 years ago, and he said looked around and said we we have frontline workers, people out there engaging life and frontline who's caring for them.

Leray Heyne  4:33

Yeah.

Ron Henry  4:33

And at birth, this own element, so he took the element of trusted relationships, building a relationship based model. Creating a place that people can go to, you know, that it's not going to be, you know, somebody may say, we can talk to your spouse, well, maybe it's a marriage issue, stress issues in the workplace. So that's what permeated some 40 years ago. I mean, by all this evolved today, I mean, we serve close to over seven in different 1700 different companies probably a billion and a half employees and family members.

Leray Heyne  5:04

Wow.

Ron Henry  5:05

And we're just growing. But the beauty of the model is doing exactly what Jesus did.

Leray Heyne  5:11

Yeah.

Ron Henry  5:11

Just loving on people of all backgrounds, all different diversity. I mean, it's not we're not give a we're not advisory. We're not counselors, right. We're chaplains. We care is compassion, and helping people get over the rough times, sometimes of what you might say mitigating minor issues before there major issues.

Leray Heyne  5:30

Right. And these are not Christian clients. They're not just Christian companies, right?

Ron Henry  5:35

Oh, not at all. Yeah, I mean, one of our it's people who it really me we have publicly traded companies, we've been big names. We have small privately held three person firms, 30,000, 20 locations, you name it, while we have everything. I mean, it's just like a comment was made by a very outspoken atheist atheist business owner in Dallas.

Leray Heyne  5:56

Wow.

Ron Henry  5:56

And somebody can program well, you're an atheist. What are you doing with this chaplain? He said, I care for my people. I want my people cared for. So what happens through building a trusted relationship? It oversects any previous decision disposition? Yeah. So no matter what faith you are, what age you are, what lifestyle you choose, you still are God's children, and you've deserve to be loved upon and cared for.

Leray Heyne  6:23

Yeah.

Ron Henry  6:25

I mean, you know, respectfully, some of the pushback we get are from some of the Christian business owners. Yeah, they think a lot because I got saved, I have the skill set to care for my people.

Leray Heyne  6:36

Yeah, yeah.

Ron Henry  6:37

Of course, I say, how's that working?

Leray Heyne  6:38

Yeah. Well, you know, what I want to share with you on that note, to your Christian business owners, I just shared with you the Scripture about a diversity of gifts and the diversity of activities. And being a CEO of my company for 18 years, I can tell you, even with an open door policy, there are things that your employees, I had 250, so some didn't even have access to me. So they're not going to all be able to share what they want to share with you the privacy the issues that they want to share with you. And I want to encourage you, especially the larger your businesses are, leverage the diversity of gifts leverage the diversity of activities with marketplace chaplains, because they will be able to accomplish things no matter how open door policy you are, no matter how much of a shepherd that you are. They're just some things they're not going to share with you because you're their boss. So given an example, you shared off camera with me an example of something like that.

Ron Henry  7:32

Well, I have is a goober stories, the examples of how we care is the I mean, I mean, they're tragic events. But I think one of the one of the events that impacted me early on to what I've been helping out for the last eight years was there was a bank who we were serving, we had a female Chaplain serving the bank, regular basis and developed a relationship with one of the tellers young lady who was a teller. She was of Muslim faith, you, and her. And it turns out her father passed away. And the only person in her life that she trusted was our female chaplain. So she asked that her would you do the service? And, and of course, she knew that she was a person of Christian faith, but out of respect. So our chaplain went and got some wise counsel from Iman. And conducted the service.

Leray Heyne  8:19

Wow.

Ron Henry  8:19

So people like Maysville, how does that work there? But, you know, let's get with real life. Firstly, relationships is the key.

Leray Heyne  8:27

Yeah.

Ron Henry  8:28

I mean, but I do want to add in a little bit about the the trusted demand and what's going on right now.

Leray Heyne  8:33

Right.

Ron Henry  8:34

The avenue if you think of 6000 work locations. And I just found this out 10 minutes ago, there are eight states in the United States have legislation on the books to pass to which support and engage chaplains at your public schools.

Leray Heyne  8:54

Wow.

Ron Henry  8:55

To serve the teachers and the students with chaplains. So I'm just thinking, my mind's not I thought about that eight states. And they're already there's already two or three that have already agreed to that Texas is one of them.

Leray Heyne  9:07

Right.

Ron Henry  9:08

But to bring Jesus into the public schools, that's cool.

Leray Heyne  9:12

It is awesome. It is awesome.

Ron Henry  9:14

You know, if you're involved with any state as a business, I mean, understand as a business owner.

Leray Heyne  9:19

Yeah.

Ron Henry  9:19

As CEO, you're mandated to understand your level of influence, and influence you have in your community.

Leray Heyne  9:26

Yeah.

Ron Henry  9:26

So you can encourage your state's legislators to to loudest Athens, but in that same way, the door is open for city governments. We've got a couple of major cities now we're doing all their employees.

Leray Heyne  9:36

Yeah.

Ron Henry  9:37

Major hospitals 5000 employees at a major Hospital Corporation America Hospital. So everyone needs help. I need it. You need it.

Leray Heyne  9:46

Yes. Yes. That is awesome. Ron, I just love the work that marketplace chaplains is doing. And I want to encourage you CEOs again to leverage that diversity of gifts and diversity of activities. So let me read that verse to you one more time. It is there is a diversity of gifts but the same Spirit. There is a diversity of ministries, but the same Lord and there is a diversity of activities but the same God, it works all in all. Ron how do they get a hold of marketplace chaplains? What's the website their website address?

Ron Henry  9:46

Well, the best way is the website and that's mchapusa.com mchapusa.com it fully integrates the model the usage contact information. If you want more information about chaplains. If you want to be a chaplain, we still have 150 openings while we still day growing so if you want to learn what it is to become a marketplace chaplain.

Leray Heyne  10:42

Wow. Awesome. So thank you, Ron, for educating us and sharing with us. I know that the average Christian showing up on Sunday at church has no clue that there's chaplains all across his country doing the Lord's work in business. So God bless you guys for what you're doing.

Ron Henry  10:58

Well, thank you so much because I'm privileged to be part of it.

Leray Heyne  11:01

Yeah. Bless you.
