Yeah, yeah. So what do you think about all of this virtual reality studio? And what do you think about it?

It's beautiful to see what God is doing with, with film production, animation, and even the technology. I know some believers. They are kind of against technology. But I'm 32 so I'm a millennial. And I grew up I only grow with technology. So I've only seen and ask God, God help us use this to reach more people. And that's exactly what you guys are doing with this technology.

Yeah. Well, you're kind of doing a little bit of that yourself. Right?

So tell people about yourself and and the businesses that you have?

Yeah, so I'm, uh, my name is Eric skeldon. Married have six wonderful kids, five daughters. And I'm at 32 with six kids. Yeah, we got started young, I was going to the army at 21. And so I was gonna I got a contract to go airborne. So I knew I was going to be jumping out of airplanes. And then as an infantryman you know, you're on the front line. So it battle does come if a war comes over three, as somebody were saying, now may come. I know I'm going to be the first the lines, you know, first, first a battle first, all that stuff, and even dubbing and behind enemy lines on my a, I don't know what my day is gonna come so Jesus. I need a good wife. I prayed for a good wife. And she came in she was actually in my youth, a youth group with my mom.

Oh, that's awesome. Awesome. All right. Continure. 32 with six kids. That's a That's a lot. That's a lot of work.

Exactly. And with all those kids and all those weddings we have to get ready for I said God we need we need to know about cash flow and businesses we need to know about how to steward and steward Deuteronomy 18. Like God, give me the wisdom to generate wealth to give me the wisdom to build. Proverbs says wise men are builders. They're builders of families, businesses, organizations. And so I've kind of just studied interviewing wise people, wise men and had them speak into my life and just ask the tough questions. And that's why I love what Leray is doing and bringing all these people together. But you know, I kind of growing up I was a labeled ADHD add dyslexic. The world told me I was never gonna amount to anything. But Jesus had a different story for my life he brought in people to speak a new word into my life. And, you know, I ended up flunking out of college math three times, when I was 18. And 19. I actually had a college scholarship and cheerleading. And I ended up ruining that because I, my entrepreneur, a gift, I used it for the wrong thing. And I was actually solving a problem. I was always solving problems, but I was solving the wrong problem solving the problem of helping our teammates have have pot to smoke after you know, college. And we ended up just growing that marijuana pot business two pounds of marijuana, the cartel was bringing it to my guy, my guy was giving me these coffee, coffee, like things that went across the border that got they smuggled in with these coffee bags, so it could get across the border. And I just was good at flipping stuff and multiplying stuff. But long story short, Jesus wrecked my life got me out of that before I ever got in any trouble. An angel actually came in like, visited and it really kind of helped just wake me up out of that. And from that I ended up getting out of all of that whole industry. Going back home. Working at Olive Garden for a year just praying like God, what am I going to use? That's when I first started picking up a film camera and making films I kinda got into music, working with the music industry in Dallas. And then I enlisted in the Texas Army National Guard to be army paratrooper. And my wife came right during that time as all saying, hey, I need to, I need to focus on the straight and narrow God, I want to follow you. But I think God knew my personality that needed a good wife that just loved Jesus, like, all in and could help me do that. So my wife is here today, probably over near this animation booth. But that was really what wrecked my life was 11 years ago, really leaving everything behind and saying God, like I want to follow you. And the cool thing Leray is the same gift that had me multiply the pounds of marijuana. I use after I got a business degree the army paid for my business degree. I said, God I'm gonna I'm gonna finish it. He said finish what you started even though I flunked out of math three times in college. I finished it when what once I got an army and went with God, I passed my all my business math. First try. And God had me just focus and get with prior service army guys to finish the math and get my business degree. And then I went into freight brokering and when I went to freight broker and I use that same thing to haul loads, to land big clients and to move weight all across from lumber, steel, in furniture stores, we had Aaron's furniture there, he was client of ours. We had a lot of their distribution centers. But it was the same connection, the same skill sets where I did millions of revenue for that where the enemy was trying to get me locked up or in prison or killed in the underground industry.

Yeah, yeah. So what are the what are you got a couple companies now that you're part of right. Tell us a little bit about those.
Eric Skeldon 7:51
Yeah, so we're Kingdom Warriors. It started with actually started with Ethereum blockchain launched the idea was we wanted to build a kingdom Disney. And I got it in the NFT technology. I was studying Bitcoin blockchain Ethereum. And just the power of web three, the future of the internet, the internet, you know, brand now we see IoT, the Internet of Things, what you guys are doing the virtual reality. AR, we started meeting a lot of Christian founders that were in these industries. And I was seeing how God was using these algorithms from heaven and using these technology, and even given us dreams for patents and all these different technologies. So I got this vision for this project called Kingdom Warriors. I raised $50,000. Back in 2021, we ended up doing a $1.2 million launch. And then we put half a million into a film, whether we our idea was we wanted to build a Lord of the Rings style film, we put about half a million into that, and we ended up landing. This is the cool thing about this, our biblical things work in real life. We wanted to do a Lord of the Rings Chronicles Narnia style film, we ended up putting that half a million into the budget. And we ended up landing, landing Gimli from Lord of the Rings, the one of the original fellowship of the nine was like, I love your story. I love what you're doing. And at the time, Amazon just spent a billion dollars for the rights for Rings of Power for Lord of the Rings. But he didn't like what they were doing because they were kind of doing woke and some stuff. And he's like, I like what you guys are doing, like keeping biblical values keeping, like truth and your guy's story. So it's just it's cool to see. So we have that film, that one will get to be an entertainment business. Yeah, so this entertainment, business, faith and family and even some covert things that are like parables about how Jesus right you know, he performed his miracles in the marketplace. He spoke in parables. So we want to also reach people for animation for Kids Animation, live action, and, and things that are some will be just faith, faith. And you know, there'll be Bible verses and you know, angels and cool stuff, but some will be just parables.

So the business model, how to NFT's and crypto currency work into that. Is that part of the model?
Eric Skeldon 9:56
Yeah, so the NFT's it's a utility token so the NFT is where a utility so they get an annual event. We have a kingdom warriors annual event, we bring business leaders and kind of, you know, just Kingdom entertainers, the best of Kingdom arts, entertainment business, I kind of bring in prophetic I bring so and then we also did a weekly coaching for over a year. So if they own NFT, they got the best of my millionaire friends and people who have built amazing organizations with using Kingdom principles. And I will serve them with that. So it was like education was like a that they bought a NFT for $222. And without NFT, it opened doors for virtual events, physical events, merchandise, T shirts, hats, so it just we gave them a lot of stuff. We gave out like 12, Blue Yeti mics, so people can start getting their voice out there. 2019, my biggest fear was public speaking. And I was just like, I was like, God, I've already done millions of revenue. I've jumped out of airplanes, what am I afraid of? And he's like, you're afraid of speaking in front of people. And I was like, and I found out over half the kingdom citizens are their biggest fear is public speaking. And I think the enemy is using that because we can't we can't share with our neighbors share with someone house Holy Spirit gonna have us share the gospel or share stories.

Yeah, yeah. And what about the other company you were talking about?
Eric Skeldon 11:09
So the newest one is Kingdom Broker. So we are building the Uber for buying one to $10 million businesses. And we're going to connect values based business owners to buy and sell one to $10 million businesses. Because we found out there's 10,000 Baby Boomers retiring a day, there's 4 million baby boomer businesses out there that their kids want to be tick talkers, YouTube influencers. And they don't want to take over these boring businesses like Pest Control, landscaping, manufacturing, which you did, you know, and these are good businesses that are stable, they have the longevity and we need it. We're trained up an army of acquisition people to steward these businesses, and through the cashflow the businesses serve the community, serve the staff, and help their community and every city.

So you saying us old guys had boring businesses?

I mean, I just believe there's a lot of good, boring businesses out there. And there are some old guys that they would like a young guy to say, hey, I want to be your successor for two years. I'm taking it over.

I'm messing with you. Good now. So in all these businesses and and your marriage and your children, right now, what's the Lord speaking about? What's he challenging you, for him your own personal relationship with him and, and, and how that gets integrated, and all these great things you're doing?
Eric Skeldon 12:30
Yeah, I will say for me, and my wife, and some of them, we've been really learning about emotional intelligence. And I'm kind of my dad's from Johannesburg, South Africa. And he's a very smart guy, I have a CPA license MBA, very smart. He won a men's tennis championship at Auburn University. But one thing we found out, he wasn't that emotionally connected to the kids, or to my mom, he's like getting better, but just being more emotionally connected, and even like, the intimacy you have with the Father, and then to pursue Jesus like to have that in your marriage and like, so I would say, you know, focus on your marriage, focusing on my, my relationship with my daughters, and my newborn son. It's like, like you said, you can create a multimillion dollar business. And I've interviewed so many, you know, people have created millions and revenue millions and but then once they lose their family and wife, and they're on their second or third marriage, it's just like, I wish I would have just spent more time with them.

So I would say that's the number one thing is like, God helped me, help me just keep the main thing. The main thing, you know, with God, family, God and family are the two things like and health I think right now, right now, he's been telling me like, I like I don't know if it's like a gluten allergy, but just the American food system that seems to be trying to poison us.

Just saying, like, Eric, take care of your health. Because if you don't have your health and marriages, then nothing else really matters.

Well, you're only 32. And you have guys giving you some big visions. He wants you to be around to be able to take care of them.

So. So a couple of things. I haded you a book called Living in Communion. So written a book recently, Living in Communion, leading the church into communion with the Holy Spirit. And if you want to grow your intimacy with the Lord, it doesn't matter how intimate you think you are with your Lord. There's, wherever you're at the Lord can take you to another level of intimacy. So I want to encourage you to read it and embrace the lifestyle, so that you can grow in that intimacy because you're right, when that starts to grow in you, and that transformation becomes a new, it's, it's not, it's not compartmentalize, it gets manifested throughout each part of your life, with your children, with your wife, with your employees in your own relationship with the Lord. So hopefully, you will do that. I didn't know that when you told me when I handed you the book a few minutes ago.

That's powerful. What would you say is the biggest thing you've seen for, you know, young leaders? You know, like, I think in the YPO is like young, you know, young executives, you know, this whole but it's like the idea of being like even a young CEO, there's so many. I feel like there's so many good mentors and I love what you're doing even training the next generation because there's for us to want to collapse time and to not make mistakes that maybe we wish we wouldn't have made before.

What would you say?

So I think that for us in business, I will use this term, we need a greater revelation of Jesus Christ. And what I mean by that is, we are temples of his living presence, through communion with the Holy Spirit. In Galatians 2:20 says, it's no longer I who live, but it's Christ living in me, and I allow the life I live, I live by faith in the Son of God. And how do we do that we do that through communion with the Holy Spirit. Communion, meaning participation. So when I say a greater revelation, if you could really grow with a revelation that the abiding presence of Jesus Christ, who created heaven and earth, who has all authority over heaven and earth, from lives in you, and abides in you, and it's not you doing what you do, it's not your visions, it's not your gifts, it's not your anointed ability, it's him living in you, and through you. Now you just participate with that. So the young, the young entrepreneurs and in and this is for old as well, is we don't have a revelation of that abiding presence of Christ is a we take on his role, we take on his responsibility, we think, you know, I was brought up with work, work, work, work hard. Do it excellent. And we don't have any idea that this unseen presence of God really doesn't need us. But he loves to invite us in what he wants to do. So if we, if young entrepreneurs can get that before us older ones got it, you will be so much more ahead of us when we came into that revelation, after many years of fighting it so and it'll it'll take the stress off you in ways you can't even imagine.

So the second thing, yeah, the second thing he's really been teaching me about is like shalom, am I, even that, that this decade we're in right now, I know, some people say as chaotic as election year, and COVID happened four years ago. And it's been, you know, crazy for a lot of people, but he's been talking to me about shalom and just really something, you know, divine flow, like really saying in this divine flow. And I, you know, in the sports world, and I was an athlete, and you know, military and but they have this thing called flow state where you're the you're in this state of like your brain and your activity, where you're just, you're on point, whether you're playing ping pong, or tennis, or baseball or football or, or just spend time with God or worshiping, you're just in a state where you're performing at where, like the maximum potential and and thinking about that, if we really are aware, and we catch the revelation of that, yeah, we can, wherever we're going, you know, I talked to you, there are a divine connection that says, Hey, speak to him. Talk about this. And you don't even have to try it. You just blow. And as you're going on your path, to stay in, stand the rest, stay calm, you know, brother, Lauren's talked about, or even the Bible talks about? Like, what is it cease asleep? Keep? What is it? Keep praying?

All through the day, you're just whispering, you're praying, and you're thanking God for this connection? Thank you, God, I'm here on this TV show. And then as you're, as you're in that thankfulness, gratefulness, everywhere you go, there's more and more increase of just the presence of rest and shalom and blessing other people with that, because I think the Western culture were so fast. So we're building scaling companies exiting companies doing all this cool stuff. But the people who have even built and scaled billion dollar companies, they're miserable without that rest.

And so think about this. Yeah, I love how you just talked about this flow and how you relate it to a couple of things that, that that relate to you. I just told you how the Lord use business to relate spiritual things to me, right? Yeah. And you just did the same thing with your experiences, right? And so now let's take this spiritual application of that in Galatians 5:25. It says, If we live in the spirit, let us walk in the Spirit and right we're born in the spirit. We're one in the Spirit. So living in the Spirit, and doing our activities in communion with the spirit is really a new operating system, but you just described it in your terms as flow, right? So think about leading think about being led by the Spirit walking in His spirit being governed by the Spirit. That's the flow you're staying in communion with, but it's a different operating system. If you try to do it in your old carnal nature, it will never work. But if you can start to shift and realize I am a spiritual being, having a carnal experience and not a carnal being having a spiritual experience, we now start to learn this new operating system.

And preach. That's it. You got to it's a new operating system and it's funny the the book I wrote called The Kingdom Mind. My chapter title was like, coming out of the carnal mind, because the I grew up this all carnal. It was just like, it was like poverty spirit. It was my parents aren't really going to take care of me. So I'm out here are having to grind and hustle and figure out my life. And everything was about, you know, eating me no drinking and pleasure. And just like from 18 to 21, I say, my life was like Solomon, you know, everything under the sun and three years and I tried to buy 21 I didn't even care about alcohol or anything anymore, because I already had enough from 17. Pretty much seven into 21. I was like, I've had, I've tried the shrooms and ecstasy and all this stuff. And it was, it was all it was all just a little high that made you feel like Superman for a second.

But there's nothing like the Holy Spirit.

And everlasting like, spirit and like the bliss that God can give us this by tuning into his frequency of love that He has all the time ready for us. It's like a channel that's ready at all times.

And Lord, we ask you to, as you said, Lord, you put it on his heart that you want them to learn to operate and rest in peace, Lord, You are the peace of God, the peace of God abides in Eric Lord, not as the world gives but as you give, Lord, we pray that he would draw him into a greater revelation of God, Holy Spirit living in him that he is a temple of the living God, Lord, and that you want to govern his life, you want to lead him and guide him and teach him in all things pertaining to Jesus Christ. So Lord, I pray that you would draw them in into a place of intimacy, of place of desiring to want to know you are desiring to know the mysteries of God and the deep things of God, Lord, and we pray, Lord, that You would transform him so that those those levels of transformation and revelation in intimacy Lord would be manifested in his marriage with his wife, and especially Lord with his children. You are the love of God, the love of God dwells in this man, rise up love of God, rise up Jesus Christ in this man, and may He manifest Christ, by manifesting love. In Jesus name. Amen.
