So good to see you. And this gentleman right here is the real deal. I wanted to get that out of the way right at the start. What a man of God, I've only known you a few months. But this gentleman has poured more into my life in that short time than so many other people have and this is a privledge. Thank you so much. So tell our audience about Abundant TV and a little one first, maybe a little bit about you and how you got into that. And then we'll kind of venture onto the next thing.

Well, I started in Christian media. It's really a neat story because I actually grew up around it. My dad was a pastor who started a radio ministry. So when I was five years old, I used to go with him to the radio station, that kind of was the start of everything in my life and my fascination for Christian media. Fast forward, I got into Christian radio and did that for a number of years, then launched my own company that helped basically consult ministries to get on television, radio, and print. And we did a lot of that. And it was really neat. Fast forward to a couple of years ago. I was getting ready to get married. And this now this is a great story. So so I was later in life to get married. I'm not going to tell you how old I am. But just trust me it was later in life for me. For my first marriage. My wife's also in her first marriage. We got married, we were engaged, and I called her and I said, hey, honey, I want to start a Christian television network. And to know my wife, she's very analytical. She's very, you know, it just she wants to think things through. And instantly she went, yes, we need to do this and we need to do it now. And it's over the six month period, we did a lot of research and created what became Abundant TV, and Abundant TV. Our real goal. We're a what's called OTT, which basically means we're on Amazon, we're on Roku and Apple TV and you can get us on your main Android apps and on your Apple for your phone and which is really cool. Got to share with you the other day. We were doing a look at our numbers. And over 30,000 people watched in one day from India on Android devices and we went this is so cool. So fast forward to May of 2022 we launched abundant TV it has grown with great programming like having you on there we on every Wednesday you do an amazing job. It's my favorite show, because I love business and I grew up around it. I think I just always had an entrepreneurial spirit. My Funny story is when I was five my mom and dad used to go out to run restaurants and now this is in the old days, they don't do this anymore. But when I was a kid, they used to give gifts to the to the if you got to get a kid's meal got something, even the restaurants did it not just the fast food place, right? So every Saturday, I would set up a card table at the end of our driveway. And I would sell all of these things to the other neighbor kids who didn't get to go out and eat. So I grew up with a very much an entrepreneurial side to me. And so I always looked forward to starting and running my own business. Those were really I think, and I truly believe this guy puts that in your DNA.

Ladies and gentlemen, I've run a company for over 25 years, what he said off camera to me, changed everything about the way I was thinking about how I run my company. And that was 10 minutes ago. And I'm just excited to take that principle, and bring it to what we're doing.

Yeah, well thank you. So what I shared with Rob, and you can go to our website at Jesus Christ's CEOs, or JCCEOS.com. And you will download a organization chart. It's an Authentic Kingdom Company organization chart. And at that on top of the organization chart, you are going to see Jesus Christ being preeminent first, then you're going to see your Holy Spirit, then you're going to see the company, then you're going to see you the CEO. And what I share with Rob is you will never ever be greater than third in command of an Authentic Kingdom Company. And I shared with Rob, I said, Rob, you are too busy doing Jesus' job, the owners job that's above your paygrade He's pretty good at his job, he doesn't need your help you focus on your part at that third level of authority.

See and that's for for most entrepreneurs, which you know, in your ilk, as an entrepreneur, is you want to be you know, you're like I'm leading the charge. I'm the guy doing the work. And it hit me that I've been doing business wrong for 25 years. And it was like, it spoke into my spirit, it spoke into my life. And it makes me want to change. Like, like I said, and I'm the kind of person in life, I want it once I hear something like that. I want to change everything. And I want to do it right now. And it's so super impactful. If you're out there like I am, and you've been, you know, working and you're an entrepreneur, go download this because and I can't overemphasize it. It's not. You didn't know I was going to talk about that.

So many times we want to be number one, or we want and we love the titles that go with that I'm the CEO or I'm this or I'm, you know, CFO or whatever. Those titles are great, but I liked the fact that you did that I'm third, and I didn't really think about it this way. I'm really third in command in my company.

Yes, yes, it there's a freedom and a liberty when you grasp that revelation, in truly in an Authentic Kingdom Company. And when you think about this, there's nowhere in the Bible you will find where Jesus has granted His authority to anybody on anything in his kingdom, not even Holy Spirit. So why are you taking on responsibility that the Lord hasn't given you?

See, and that's I think, for me, and I, I deal a lot with worry, which I know is not good. And I know it's not. And it's, it's tough for me to, to kind of step away from worry.

And as an own business owner, and I'm sure if you're a business owner, you're out there watching. You wake up at three o'clock in the morning and you're worried about stuff. That's not God. God doesn't want us to have that point. And I've really tried, especially since we started talking, I've tried to let that worry go. I've tried to let that that focus go and work on what God has for me. And in your book. I love the talk about tearing scripture apart and writing nice stuff down. Oh, yeah, we've been. We've been doing that my wife and I, I joke. I don't read. My wife reads to me.

Yeah, but my mom my mom does the same thing to my dad for years.

I just I it's sad, but I don't have that time to do that. And a lot of times but with your book, we've stopped working while we're reading. Literally, I've been diving into this. And it is it's life changing now to really read and, and this is it. You're authentic in what you write in a book is authentic. What every business owner deals. It's like, it's like reading my daily life reading your book. I'm like, I do that I'm going through that I have that going on right now. And then when we started writing, and my wife shared with you, she's writing a devotional book. You encouraged her. She started writing that book in 2016. And now she's back doing it because of what the book talks about, oh, I really went Holy Spirit comes in and really what, and I feel that he felt that just this up this morning when we were talking, it's like it poured over me it was like a refreshing yeah, that's, that's when it's awesome.

What Rob's talking about as a few months ago, I released a book called Living in Communion, Leading the Church into Communion with God Holy Spirit. And for our ministry, we have an institute for CEOs, the business owners, and one of the things I had been wanting to do is to equip the business owners Ephesians, or Timothy 2:2 says, equip those who are capable of equipping others. And the CEOs need to start equipping their Christians in their business because they're not being taught in their church on how to do business with the body presence of Christ through communion with the Holy Spirit. And so now the business owner has something to lead their team and equip their team, right? Imagine if your team knew how to hear Holy Spirit's voice and they came to you and you said, Hey, boss, you know what, you gave me a task to go hire a new camera, crew, then I've interviewed 25 people, I went through resumes, I downloaded it down to downsize to down to three. I've prayed about it. And my discernment is Holy Spirit chose this one.

Yes. And we're letting him make the decision. It's his company, right? So living in communion is first for the owner. But then it's truly for you to be able to equip your team with Jesus Christ leading through commune with Holy Spirit. You know, Rob, I, you shared with me a few months back about how you grew up as a pastor's kid, and you had this nonprofit mentality, and you didn't really fit. You've always had a passion for business. But you've never really solid come alive. Yep. I want you to share that story. Because some of you, maybe you were in that same spot where Rob is maybe you got there differently. You weren't a pastor's kid, but you've been you've been you've had this business in your heart, you know, your call to business, but you may be just haven't stepped out for some fear or whatever the reason is, I hope that Rob's story, and where he's at today, in this short journey of of launching a new company, I hope it really blesses you. So give them a little backstory. So they can be encouraged.

It is awesome and you play an integral part in that. And that's what's so neat about being here. Today on the show, is, I have dealt with a lot of when you work in the Christian world, and I love my my Christian brothers and sisters. But when you work in that you kind of get insulated to where you know that you just do this, these little things. And you stay in this little box, you'd go in this little circle. And so we were talking about four months ago, and I was going through a process of I had a heart for something much bigger. But when you're a pastor's kid, or when you're in Christian ministry, you think, well, I've got to do everything that's based around this. And thank you. That's what I shared with you. Yeah. And I deal with a lot of fear. I am one of those people that anxiety is a part of my life. And I try and I pray. And when I'm and I think the biggest thing about fear, and if you're a business owner, if stay prayed out, when you're praying, the fear disappears. When when I've noticed in my life, when I spend less time in prayer is when the fear grows.

So anyway, we were sharing with each other, it was an awesome time it and I said, this is what I want to do, I want to launch a new media company that deals secularly and deals with it with a lot of events and things like that, including working with, like the Senior Bowl, which we did a few weeks ago. So we launched this company in September of this past year, just just recently. And it has grown so incredibly, and God has opened so many doors. And sometimes it feels overwhelming, those doors. And you just have to know you have to pray. And again what we talked about just a little bit as changing that thought processes, I have to let you know God do it. You know, Jesus is going to take care of a Holy Spirit's gonna tell me where to go, right. And I just have to sit back and enjoy God's gonna open those doors. And you may be out there and you may be saying, Yeah, Rob, I, I have all these fears about starting about doing this. And I don't know if I'm capable of it. And that's what I shared with you at him. I said, I don't know. Honestly, I've worked in this world for so long. I don't know if I can do anything else. And it was amazing to watch God in our first meeting and I haven't shared this with you yet. A first meeting for our new company. God just opened door after door to that first meeting. It was like it was it's a, it's an organization. And I can't say yet because we haven't signed the contract. We're getting ready to do that. But this organization is a very well known company. And God, it was nothing I did, right. If Jesus opened these doors, Holy Spirit gave me words to say that it was not me. It if you've never been in that situation, pray for that. Because there are times in my life where I am sitting there afterwards going, I wonder what I said.

Because was he just comes in and fills us. And if if he if we allow Him to fill us, and we were a conduit for that, yeah, he is going to speak for you. In this meeting. He spoke for me, because, honestly, I have no idea what I said. And they were super impressed. And I went, cool. I'm glad they didn't ask for a written version of it. Because I have no idea what I said. But if you're dealing with fear, know God is with you, know he is there. And he wants you to, I always think of this, and I'm sure you feel the same way, is if you have an idea, nine times out of 10. God has planted that idea, though. And Jesus is helping you. And he'll foster those ideas.

And sometimes we take a lot of times, quite frankly, we take too much credit. And we think those are our ideas, and they're not from the Lord. That's awesome. And you now are what Jesus is doing in business.
